Here's A Quick and Easy Way to Get Rid of Acne Within 24 Hours

Are you tired of having acne again and again?

I know some of you can relate with me with that feeling when you have a photo shoot or an important event in the next few days and you woke up with large pimples on your face. Lack of sleep can really trigger breakouts and sometimes you wish to get rid of it in an instant. When I say instant, I mean between  12 to 24 hours.

Even  the best concealer cannot just hide acne especially if there are bumps. My skin looks perfect on this photo after a professional make up artist did wonders on my face. However, if you will take a closer look , you will be able to see the "hidden acne".
Find the hidden acne :-)

Now there is a quick and easy way to get rid of acne in a instant with a procedure called Intralesional Steroid Injection from Skin Philosophie Medical Aesthetic & Lifestyle Solutions

Large pimples called "nodulocystic acne" may leave disturbing complications such as scars, pigmentation and enlarged pores. Injection of steroids effectively controls the inflammation, thereby lessening the chances of complications. The bumps swiftly flatten within 24 hours after injection. A life-quick fix indeed!

Tiis Ganda!

Watch my video here as Dra. Kyla Talens inject me with intralesional steriod.

Don't worry with the injection, I am confident that you will be in good hands. I felt a little sting at first, but I did not feel any pain at all.

About Dra. Kyla Talens of Skin Philosophie Medical Aesthetic & Lifestyle Solutions

Have you ever wondered why I trusted Dra. Kyla so much that I allowed her to do this procedure on me? Here's why.

Dra. Kyla already understood the unpleasant impact of physical flaws on the human psyche at an early age. Growing up, she experienced firsthand the heavy emotional burden brought about by different skin issues as acne, pigmentation and scarring, among others. This fueled her drive to seek the best ways to improve people's self-concept through physical enhancement.

Having undergone medical aesthetic procedures herself while in medical school, she realized that improving one's outward appearance could be life-changing. Thus, she became determined to make a difference in the lives of people who are going through similar difficulties.

She obtained the degree of Doctor of Medicine from the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital in 2008 and was licensed in the same year. It came as no surprise when she subsequently decided to pursue Dermatology. She completed the Diploma in Clinical Dermatology programme of Cardiff University, United Kingdom in 2010 and was awarded the degree of Master of Science in Clinical Dermatology by the same institution in 2011. Thereafter, she took the Fellowship in Dermatologic Laser Surgery at Ramthibodi Hospital - Mahidol University,Thailand to further advance her training. She regulary attends reputable international dermatologic conventions to constantly update herself on the latest medical techniques and technologies in the field.

It is her lifelong commitment to uplift her patient's psychosocial well - being by providing the most effective solutions to physical concerns which are undeniably intertwined with the sens of selfworth.

The Maid of Honor as the Dummy Bride

Walang 1st fitting, 2nd fitting and final fitting

Confession of a Benefit Card-o-holic : How to Save While Spending

I am not a shop-a-holic! Let's just say that every peso I spent should give me something in return that will make me a better person. I work hard and money does not grow on trees.

If there will be a Philippine edition of Extreme Couponing, I already see myself to be on that show. Although couponing is not that famous here in the Philippines as a marketing tool, I think I will be the right resource person to be interviewed on how I used or should I say "abused" my BPI credit card in feeding my guests on my birthday party without spending. "Oh I spent pala for the drinks, eh di wow!" And before you judge me on my spending habbits, let me tell you that I pay all my dues before the due date. "Sabi nga, sayang ang points!"

There were also times (read as a lot of times), when you have a budget to consider but you still want to explore and experience the "other side of the world" (read as luxury) and you were given an irresistible upgrade, freebie or a discount  and you will just say "Yes" while your eyes twinkle with happiness. Don't you just love that feeling? I do!

I can still recall that feeling when a hotel front desk staff informed me that we were given free room upgrade, free drinks from the bar, 50% off on our second night. That feeling when you pay only half of what you could have paid for it will make you do the happy dance.

Other cards offer voucher type benefits like 50% off on dining,  cash vouchers, freebies, upgrades, free services, special rates, trial class, free consultation, while others were giving an outright discount for every product purchased.

Discounts and freebies given by a store/supplier/company  makes me feel appreciated. It makes me feel special. It doesn't not matter whether it's a free drink, 5% discount , or another 5% on your next visit, as long as they are giving me an added value.

But before I avail of a certain benefit card, I always read the fine print and ask the following questions :

1. Will I visit the partner establishments in the next 12 months?
2. Are there expiry dates? Vouchers usually have expiry dates and must be use before it expires. They also have restrictions that needs to be followed.
3. Is it for free? If not, how much and is it sulit? (with Kris Aquino voice)

The Best Way to Get Rid of Acne : Pamper Yourself With Skin Philosophie Signature Facial

For more than 2 years now, I've been trying and experimenting on different beauty products to use on my face. At first you can see some improvement, but once my skin gets familiar with the product or I may say "nasanay na!", sometimes it leads to skin breakouts. I can also say that I am "tamad" with these "before going to bed" rituals. And I admit, I sometimes sleep with my make up on.

With all the lack of sleep, hormonal imbalance and stress during the holiday season, I've noticed that I've been experiencing a lot of skin breakouts. This time I decided not to  D-I-Y my acne treatment anymore and so I seek a professional help.

Luckily, I met Dr. Kyla Talens of Skin Philosophie Medical Aesthetic and Lifestyle Solutions and she helped  me regain my "I'm ready to face the camera" confidence that I used to have. With all her credentials as an aesthetic dermatologist, I know that I am in good hands.

UK- trained aesthetic dermatologist Dra. Kyla explained that whiteheads and blackheads are  caused by formation of comedone plugs. Comedones result from hyperproduction of oil that gets trapped underneath the skin. They are transformed into pimples when inflammation sets in together with the colonisation of bacteria. To remove  whiteheads and blackheads, we started with the Skin Philosophie Signature Facial.

The Skin Philosophie Signature Facial starts with cleansing using a hypoallergenic cleanser (for sensitive to normal skin) or a degreasing wash (for oily skin). It is then followed by a sensual aromatheraphy, a calming lymphatic massage and galvanic toning. Scrubbing and diamond microdermabrasion come next to facilitate deeper cleansing by removing dead skin cells that clog pores as well as superficial blackheads and whiteheads. Finally, a high frequency device closes the pores and application of toner restores the natural skin pH.

Check out my super selfie video here :

It was then followed by an Intralesional Steriod Injection. I already experienced this before, so I know what to expect. "Tiis Ganda" as what we ladies say, but I tell you that the bumps swiftly flatten within 12 to 24 hours after injection. The injection of steroids effectively controls the inflammation, thereby lessening the chances of scars, pigmentation and enlarged pores.
